As a teenager, my friends and I thought it would be a good idea to film ourselves skateboarding with my Mom's point and shoot camera. What ensued were dozens of short montages set to early 2000s rock music, one of which can be seen here. (Although I would suggest watching some of my other work after)
In high school I discovered Spy Hop Productions, an after-school media arts organization. It was there that I found my passion for filmmaking, starting working on "serious" video projects, and developed a foundation in cinematography.
For 4 years, I worked as the in-house DP for Phase 2 Productions, a small production company based out of Salt Lake City, Utah. My work with them consisted of TV commercials, promo videos, short documentaries, and educational pieces.
Nowadays I runs a small production company called Blank Space based out of Salt Lake City and Los Angeles, primarily taking the role of DP for the company in addition to a lot of editing and color work.
